Serious About Comedy started a red-nosed enquiry into the most democratic of art forms. A new and ongoing forum where the comedy industry dances provocatively with academia and the public, in a shared pursuit of learning and laughs. But not necessarily in that order…
New Frame Productions produced this event with Birmingham Rep and The University of Birmingham on 1st April 2022. The event was hosted by Shazia Mirza and featured Athena Kugblenu, Sophie Duker, Felicity Montagu, Ken Cheng and Jon Holmes amongst others.
